Franklyn D resort is a compact and cozy place for the whole family to enjoy the holidays. This resort attracts parents with infants and school going children. Teenagers also frequent this place for dating. You can visit the two small pleasant beaches with calm water swimming coves. Youngsters showing interest in snorkeling can make use of these coves. There are two swimming pools, one measuring 75 feet in length which is called the freeform pool and 100 foot spiral water slide which is the activity pool. A sundeck and six-person spa tub are situated over a rocky point between the swimming coves for adults. European and Asian types of massages are available for the customers in cottages facing the ocean. There is a main bar and piano lounge attached to à la carte dinner restaurant.

Enthusiastic visitors can observe sunset, enjoy star gazing or ocean gazing by climbing the balustraded finger piers with wood gazebos at the ends. A fitness center with free weights and cardio machines is awaiting the clients. A doctor is on duty round the clock at the health center.

Franklyn D Resort has to its credit 76 suites for guests constructed in three and four storey buildings with only staircases. Adirondack chairs decorate balconies and terraces. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and are also air-conditioned. The windows and doors are louvered. Each living room is furnished with couches, breakfast bar, TV channel and soft drink chillers. Children can use booster steps while using bathroom sinks without wetting their clothes.

Visitors can spend their evening time in open-air restaurant on the beach. From there they can enjoy programs performed on the open-air stage. Some of the buffets catered by this verandah restaurant are Lunch or dinner buffet with à la carte menu, Jamaican buffet and beach barbecue spread throughout the week.  Another open-air restaurant in wood pavilion on the finger pier is candle lit and for adults only. Some of the delicious recipes served here are oxtail, escoveitched or steamed fish. For all the games and sports catered by the resort, people should carry photo identification and credit cards at check-in.
